Eight years they’ve known each other, and we’ve been lucky enough to know her for three. Lindsey and Logan got married at The Old Cigar Warehouse on Saturday, April 23, 2016. An intimate gathering of the couple’s closest family and friends, including her Liquid Catering family, we couldn’t have been more excited, proud and happy to be a part of their celebration of love and life together.
It was the picture perfect day in Greenville as the couple’s family and friends gathered from all over. The venue was coming together as our exceptional vendors hustled to finish every detail while our bride and groom relaxed with their closest friends. It was their day. It was all about them and the life they have created together and the journey they were about to embark on.
As we sat in the ceremony chairs we have set for many of our clients, everything felt a bit different. It was one of our girls! Of course we don’t know exactly how the other vendors felt, but we think they would agree that when someone in the industry gets married, it’s a different kind of excitement.
Lindsey and Logan’s ceremony was so THEM. Not only did Jumping Jukebox prelude the ceremony with a little Game of Thrones (the season premier was the next day and Lindsey and Logan are huge fans), but the simplicity was a nod to who they are as individuals and as a couple. Once Logan, his groomsmen and Lindsey’s bridesmaids were all in place thanks to coordination provided by Love This Little City, everyone eagerly rose to watch the beautiful bride. And beautiful she was. Lindsey walked down the stairs with her father to “Here Comes the Sun” and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
The (happy) tears kept coming as Danielle Baker with The Wedding Lady read love letters that Lindsey and Logan wrote to each other and were hearing for the first time. You could hear both of their personalities as Danielle read the letters out loud. Before we knew it, Logan got to kiss his beautiful bride and they were introduced to their family and friends as husband and wife!
Their guests? Oh we were ready to celebrate and it kicked off on the deck with food provided by Tim Holmes Catering (here at The Old Cigar Warehouse/Liquid Catering the buffalo chicken dip is a FAVORITE) and drinks provided by none other than Liquid Catering. Guests from all over had the chance to meet and swap stories about the couple and talk about the place they’ve called home for three years. It was a true testament to the people Lindsey and Logan are – all of these people who gathered for just for them.
While guests mingled and basked in the spectacular Greenville weather, Lindsey and Logan spent time with our talented friends of David & Kristina Photography. Before too long we were welcomed back into a transformed Main Hall to watch as introductions began and our newly married friends were invited in for their first dance as husband and wife!
After their first dances, guests were welcomed into the cellar for a beautifully tables adorned with arrangements by Renee Burroughs Design. Guests sat with old friends and new as the bride and groom sat together at their own sweetheart table. To honor the bride and groom, Lindsey’s father welcomed everyone before allowing Best Man and Maid of Honor to help us toast to the new Mr. + Mrs.! Lindsey’s maid of honor started off with a sentimental toast to Lindsey and Logan before disclosing some embarrassing stories of her and Lindsey’s 19-year relationship. Lucky for all of the guests, Lindsey’s maid of honor graced us with her own song to the music of childhood favorite pop star, Aaron Carter. It certainly was a hit!
With the guests buzzing about a delicious dinner provided by Tim Holmes Catering, and an epic toast, this crowd was ready to keep on celebrating! Lindsey and Logan cut into a gorgeous and DELICIOUS cake from Holly’s Cakes and within minutes, Blake with Jumping Jukebox had everyone dancing to classics and of course the couple’s favorite tunes for the rest of the night. Guests were served from Liquid Catering‘s full-service premium bar throughout the evening!
Keeping true to their fun-loving, laid back personalities, Lindsey and Logan walked up the stairs as guests cheered them on from the dance floor. It was truly an unbelievably day for two extraordinary people and the love they share.
Cheers to you, Lindsey and Logan. We are so excited for you both as you enter into this next phase of life together. We can’t wait to continue celebrating with you!
