Special Event | Songwriters in the Round

round set up

Our brick walls were graced with amazing music on the evening of November 19th, and for such a great cause! A fundraiser for the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts, Songwriters in the Round is an opportunity for an intimate musical experience for guests to witness some of the most talented songwriters – some that have even written for big names such as Tim McGraw and Rascal Flatts!

It was an amazing night! The first hour, guests mingle, eat, and drink before the lights dim and everyone moves from the Cellar into the MH where they sit at sponsor tables or sponsor seats in the “round”.  The musicians played for the next 2.5 hours nonstop.  Cocktail servers and Caterers passed food throughout the production. Truly, an intimate dining and entertainment experience.

The musicians were so humble, and to be so close to some insanely talented people, guests felt truly special. The number of songs they performed was impressive in and of itself, and was proof as to how talented these people really are. In 2.5 hours, they produced a night that was filled with hilarious bar closing songs and some emotional recaps of their lives all through music.

All for the great foundation benefitting GSA, guests and talent enjoyed food by The Traveling Peddler and drinks served by Liquid Catering. The staff literally fight over getting to work this one because of what is expected and delivered at this event! We loved having the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts for their annual fundraiser – cheers to the great musicians and a great night!
