Real Wedding | Alex + Brandi

Lots of love surrounded November 22, 2015, and it was evident why in the very first time I met Alex + Brandi. Their love for each other is evident in everything they do whether they are speaking to each other or simply walking into a room together – the respect and the love these two possess for one another is so clear. When their families came into our space for their wedding day, it was obvious that they too felt the love that Alex + Brandi had and were going to vow to each other in just a few hours. It was going to be a great day!

It was a great day, and the celebration of these two beautiful people began with their ceremony. Their ceremony was sweet from beginning to end. Brandi had decided early on that she wanted to stick with tradition and have Alex’s first look at her in her {gorgeous} dress be when she was walking down the aisle with her father. With the sounds of Claire Stam of Upstate Harp‘s beautiful harp, Brandi walked towards Alex in what I can only imagine felt like a total fairytale moment. Under a brightly decorated arbor with fresh flowers in pink and white designed by Greg Foster, they both promised forever to each other and sealed it with a kiss…and the Tiger Rag!

While John and Anne of Cureton Photography photographed the new Mr. + Mrs. and their families, guests enjoyed cocktail hour before returning to our main hall to kick off the reception. Justin with Uptown Entertainment got the party started by welcoming the bridal party down our grand staircase. Not before long, our newlyweds danced to their first song and then shared a dance with mom and dad, respectively.

Liquid Catering opened up the bar for dinner with the Bride’s signature drink, the Alabama Slammer! Guests enjoyed not only the signature cocktail but one of their full-service liquor bars for the remainder of the reception. Buffet-styled dinner, guests sat amongst beautifully decorated tables featuring stunning floral arrangements by Greg. After dinner concluded, guests joined Alex + Brandi for toasts and the cutting of the cake provided by Buttercream Bakehouse. After they tasted their delicious cake, Justin brought out none-other than the Clemson Tiger to open up the dance floor.

Watching Alex + Brandi throughout the night was joyful – they were so excited to be married and to share this big moment with the ones they loved. It was obvious and a privilege to have been given the chance to work with them. Cheers and best wishes to the new Mr. + Mrs.!

Congratulations, Brandi + Alex!
