We never forget how special it is to be in Downtown Greenville, but watching the fireworks overhead as we finished celebrating Amy and Tyler’s big day on July 4th reminded everyone just how wonderful our location is for all kinds of celebrations! While being under a night’s sky full of stars and fireworks, it was a picture perfect ending to an already festive day. A little over a year ago, Tyler asked, “Will you marry me?” and of course Amy said, “Yes!” One of our favorite things about Amy and Tyler was their love for family. Whether it was their family of three with their adorable dog Axle or Amy and Tyler’s brothers and sisters being chosen to be in their bridal party. With an intimate guest count of 80, everything about this wedding was about coming together as one family, which is why tying their unity rope during their ceremony was so unbelievably fitting.
They stood reciting their vows before starry backdrop created by a beautiful sheer fabric backlit with string lights, serving as the perfect beginning to a night that would end with the whole sky lit up. Their choice of whites and nudes throughout the space was the perfect complement to the brightness of the fireworks, lights and smiles. Renee Burroughs Designs created gorgeous bouquets with carefully chosen white, cream and pale pink flowers with summery-hydrangea arrangements on the reception tables.Smoke on the Water provided a delicious spread, Liquid Catering served up beer and wine – guests were happy at this holiday reception! As good as both the food and drink, we don’t think anything could compare to Tyler and Amy’s all time favorite dessert—Gigi’s Cupcakes. If there’s one thing we know about this couple, it’s that they can’t get enough of Gigi’s, and we don’t blame them! They offered an assortment of flavors, including red velvet and wedding cake – two of our favorites if we have to admit!
No one wanted to miss the Downtown Greenville firework display, but not before everyone danced to music provided by Pros Only. Ryan and Alyssa Photography were there to capture it all for this sweet couple, including Amy and Tyler getting down on the dance floor to the newlyweds enjoying the spectacular firework show with all of their guests. Fourth of July, is always a day full of celebration, family and friends, but for 2015’s Independence Day celebration, Amy + Tyler sought it to be the perfect way to celebrate their lives together. And that it was.
