Meet the Intern: Emily Peck

“Hello! My name is Emily and I am so excited to be interning with the Old Cigar Warehouse this summer!  I grew up in New Jersey with my wonderful and supportive parents, my two siblings, and our beloved black lab.  Having lived in only one town for my entire life, I ventured down to South Carolina to attend college at Furman University, and am on track to complete my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies by May 2015. When I am not focusing on my studies, I am active president of the Student Alumni Council and Director of Social Events for Delta Gamma Fraternity. I get the privilege working with so many wonderful people from my peers at Furman to different vendors and venues around Greenville. Furman has been my home-away-from-home, and I am certainly looking forward to being able to experience the wonderful city of Greenville during the summer months. Working for the Old Cigar Warehouse and Liquid Catering has already proven to me that it will not only be an enriching experience but also a thrilling one.  The full-time staff has welcomed me in such a way that only makes me more grateful for this opportunity. With graduation less than a year away, I am looking forward to learning more about the industry that I hope to one day succeed in.”

Stay tuned for more blogs from Emily this summer, and say hello if you see her working an event!
