We’ve gotten in the (good!) habit of hosting a bridal open house each quarter for couples looking to use the Old Cigar Warehouse as their ceremony and/or reception venue on the big day. Whether they are already booked with us or seeing the space for the first time, we invite these guests to join us for a night of one-on-one consultations, featured vendors, and fun! On January 17th, we hosted our third open house to date from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Booked couples came out to mingle and see the space at night with all the pretty lighting while those more recently engaged and still looking for a wedding venue visited for the first time. Our spring intern, Emmy, did a great job checking everyone in, handing out name tags, and collecting wedding detail information. She manned the door all night! Featured photographer of the evening was JAC Photography, a husband and wife duo that we trust completely with capturing important moments. All of these shots were taken by them and we think they turned out great! We thank them for staying the whole night to chat with couples and take photos of the space.
We believe that our venue is beautiful even when it’s bare but when Twigs did their magic and brought in gorgeous floral arrangements to match the rustic chic feel, we swooned. Take a look!
While couples roamed around the venue, refreshments were served by Table 301, Liquid Catering, and Holly’s Cakes. Stationed in the Cellar, Table 301 offered several different delicious finger foods to choose from. Our favorite was the mashed potato bar! Guests were able to top off their creamy mashed potatoes with any of the fixings including bacon, cheese, sour cream, mushroom gravy, and salsa. One word: Yum! The only bartending catering company in the Upstate, and our sister company, Liquid Catering was there in the Main hall serving up beer and wine. We would never want our guests’ thirst to go un-quenched so bar staff was ready to take orders. After grabbing a beverage and munching on some goodies, couples indulged in Holly’s Cakes. These cupcakes were an out of this world, melt in your mouth kind of tasty. Because they were miniature, it was perfectly acceptable to eat two, three, four…or even more! You can always count on Holly and her crew to satisfy that sweet tooth.
After new couples and their friends and family took a tour of the venue, our professional sales team led them into private consultations to discuss all their wedding details and ideas. This gave couples a chance to get a one-on-one personalized meeting to answer questions and a full quote of everything they were looking for. This bridal open house was the largest one yet and was a huge success! With so many wonderful vendors, a mock ceremony set up, and our experienced staff on-site, the event was ideal for both booked and prospective couples. We have yet to set a date for our next open house but stay tuned!
